Not all the combinations I play are going to work. This one was a struggle. The map pack was a little more difficult than I was expecting, but I probably could have handled it with Corruption Cards enabled. What I couldn't handle it with, however, was Pandemonia.

Panedmonia is a gameplay mod that overhauls the weapons and monsters. However, it focuses pretty heavily on the monsters. Too heavily on the monsters. They are much, MUCH more dangerous with their new attacks than the vanilla demons. And health is unmodified. That's not bad if the map is appropriate for them. But when they're randomly spread in through the other monsters? On top of that, the weapons you get, while they ARE upgrades, aren't enough of upgrades to handle these threats.

Now, I am not entirely sure if the biggest issue here was that the levels were more difficult than I was anticipating, or if it was Pandemonia's unbalancing that made this one a chore. One thing Pandemonia does is increase the 'threat level' when you get new gear, and this map pack did kill us off once to force a pistol start. That may have tripped Pandemonia up.

Either way, this particular combo is done. And, if you watch the last half, you'll know why. A *LOT* of save scumming just to get lucky enough to not be obliterated. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/the_nametag
