I've been impatiently following the development of StygSoft's Fallout-esque indie RPG Underrail (formerly known as Timelapse Vertigo) for several years now, and I'm happy to report that the project has really taken off lately and produced a comparatively sizeable and robust alpha. This early version is available for download on Desura for those who pre-order the game (the developer has opted for an alpha-funding kind of deal similar to what Mojang did with Minecraft).

Underrail seems to do a great job of capturing the overall design and style of Black Isle's turn-based classics and I can't wait to see how the full game turns out. If you're a fan of this particular style of RPG it should definitely be worth 8€ to support the development of such a promising title. According to the official web site, the complete release should be out during the second half of 2013.
