More lost footage from 2009! Seven years ago, Paul and I headed out late one night to hike to this large, crumbling abandoned talc mine in the desert to document it and explore it. Deep in the mine, Paul crossed over a near-vertical shaft by walking on a plank that had been precariously placed over the void. We also found some interesting artifacts inside the mine from a bygone era. What impressed us the most were the multiple entrances to this large room-and-pillar talc mine and its wide, roomy tunnels.
