Eight miles of tunnels! Or at least that's what one old mining report says about the main abandoned mine in Dead Man Canyon. This massive, multi-level silver mine dates back to the 1800s and saw much development in the ensuing years. Despite its extensive workings, not much can be found in old mining reports about this massive mine except that it reportedly has eight miles of tunnels. I find that to be very odd. The main portal in this video is almost filled to the top with eroded soil, so it's been quite a while since this mine saw any mining activity.
