INSIDE STORY: PUMP UP THE VOLUME
Formula 1’s future power units continue to be a hot topic of discussion for the sport’s powerbrokers, with a format switch possible for 2021. The sport’s governing body, the FIA, has already agreed with current and external manufacturers, that engines should still be road car relevant, but also simpler, cheaper, and able to be raced harder.
But they also have to be louder and it’s a point gaining momentum - with Toto Wolff, Mercedes’ head of motorsport underlining its importance last week as a key criteria moving forward. Watch the video and tell us what you think in the comments below…
