The Insta360 Ace Pro delivers stunning image quality – but there’s one big catch with the official audio adapter.
In this video, I explain why using the Insta360 USB-C Microphone Adapter can be a dealbreaker:
No file transfers over USB-C when connected
No access to microSD card
Workflow-damaging
No fast charging
This is a stupid and frustrating limitation that completely defeats the purpose of convenience. The adapter should be “smart,” not a “dumb plug” with a transfer lock and microSD slot.
If you use external microphones or need fast file transfers, you need to be aware of this before you buy.
