== Steps ==

1. Download WryeBash Standalone Executable from Links above

2. From Steam go to your game, Properties - Launch Options
Enter the following
PROTON_DUMP_DEBUG_COMMANDS=1 %command%

3. Start the game

4. Copy the /tmp/proton_$USER/run file to /home/$USER/.local/bin/[gamename]_wryebash
or via terminal
cp /tmp/proton_$USER/run /home/$USER/.local/bin/skyrim_wryebash

5. Close the Game

6. Remove the Launch options from the Game properties.

7. Edit this file in the Text editor of your choice
a. Copy the first path from the PATH command on line #6 and add it at the start minus /dist/bin/
i.e.
PATH="/home/tony/.local/share/Steam/compatibilitytools.d/Proton-5.21-GE-1:/home/tony/.local/share/Steam/compatibilitytools.d/Proton-5.21-GE-1/dist/bin/:/usr/bin:/bin" \

b. Copy the WINEPREFIX line #11 and copy below, remove /pfx/ and change start to STEAM_COMPAT_DATA_PATH
i.e.
WINEPREFIX="/home/tony/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/489830/pfx/" \
STEAM_COMPAT_DATA_PATH="/home/tony/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/489830" \

c. Replace the last line with
proton run Mopy/Wrye\ Bash.exe

8. Save the file

9. Note the path in line #4 as this is where you need to extract WryeBash to

10. Extract the WryeBash archive you downloaded previously to the folder noted in Step #9.

11. Run the script saved in Step #8
i.e.
skyrim_wryebash
