Intel has revealed ARC, their GPU brand for high-performance GPUS for Gaming (HPG). They will be starting with Alchemist, which was formally known as Intel HPG DG2. Alchemist supports all DX12 ultimate features, so HPG does indeed feature Hardware-Based Ray Tracing, Variable Rate Shading, Mesh Shaders and Sampler Feedback.
Intel has also confirmed that Alchemist has AI upsampling, which we can assume to be similar to Nvidia's DLSS technology. This is (according to Anton, and Intel employees) extremely advanced technology and will most certainly have its own reveal in a later date.
Intel HPG / ARC upsampling will be very important to battle Nvidia, especially in smaller form factors. Further to this, Intel will be pushing their ARC / Alchemist GPUs into both mobile form factors (laptops) and also desktop, but have only referred to these so far as SOCs, and so their plans for discrete GPUs aren't as clear.
Intel has revealed that Intel ARC is a brand of products, such as AMD's Radeon or Nvidia's GeForce, and after we see Alchemist, there will be Intel battlemage, Intel celestial and finally, Intel ARC druid.
