The Intel Xeon 3175X is an unlocked CPU with full overclocking capabilities, pitted most directly against the AMD Threadripper 2990WX and following-up the Intel i9-9980XE. The Xeon part will initially only be available via system integrators (SIs), not via DIY channels, which complicates the review process significantly. We tested with the ASUS Dominus X599 motherboard, for instance, but have no idea what it's going to cost. Considering only two X599 motherboards presently exist, it is likely that both will be significant cost contributors to the total system setup. Regardless, the Xeon W-3175X got tested in Adobe Premiere, Blender, Photoshop, gaming, overclocking, and power consumption.
