Nostalgia is an incredible thing, it helps us look back on the past times in all of our lives with fondness and it makes us cherish those memories, to the point where we even start longing for them. But as with everything, too much of it isn’t good for you and in many cases, it can fundamentally change your life. So how exactly do we deal with this conundrum? When do we know if we’re too close for the sun, enough for it to burn us down, of if we’re too far below, enough to drown? This is what I find to be the main question posed by INTERFACE, an animated youtube series turned movie. Interface was created by Justin Tomchuck, better known as umami, or, if you’re a fan of his music, Hexsystem. Uhhhh nostalgia, video essay, review, mischief, henryk, greetings, kami, etc etc tags tags
Have a nice day if you're reading this :3
