낚시, 방치, 거래가 느슨하게 섞인 독특한 캐주얼 게임입니다.
플레이어는 단순히 물가에 위치해 낚시를 시작하면, 캐릭터가 자동으로 계속해서 물고기를 낚습니다. 조작 없이도 시간이 지나면 점점 다양한 물고기를 획득할 수 있죠.
낚은 물고기는 클릭을 통해 고양이에게 먹이로 줄 수 있으며, 이를 통해 포인트를 획득합니다.
획득한 포인트는 글로벌 랭킹에 반영되며, 특정 점수에 도달하면 새로운 고양이가 해금되는 구조입니다.
다만, 고양이 해금 조건은 화면 상에 안내되지 않아 정확한 기준을 파악하기는 어렵습니다.
게임은 30분마다 특수 물고기를 지급해주는 시스템도 포함하고 있습니다.
이 물고기들은 스팀 인벤토리로 직접 지급되며, 장터에서 거래하거나 게임 내에서 일반 먹이처럼 사용할 수 있습니다.
실제 아이템 거래가 연동된 구조라 가볍게 즐기면서도 수집과 거래에 흥미를 붙일 수 있는 여지를 제공합니다.

Internet Fisherman is a laid-back idle fishing game that combines passive gameplay with a hint of market trading.
Just walk up to the water, start fishing, and your character will automatically catch fish over time—no manual input required.
Caught fish can be clicked to feed the cats that roam your screen, earning you points.
Your score contributes to a global leaderboard, and reaching certain milestones unlocks new cats, though the exact unlock criteria are not shown in-game.
Every 30 minutes, you also receive a special fish—automatically added to your Steam inventory.
These can be sold on the marketplace or used as food in-game. It’s a neat feature that ties idle gameplay with real item trading, giving you small goals even while the game runs passively.
