Into the Necrovale is an action RPG/Roguelite game coming out soon. It is being developed by Casey Clyde, and published by Tribal-Storm. It can be found on Steam at: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1717090/Into_the_Necrovale/

You start the game entering the Necrovale, and are forbidden to return once you do. You learn that the Necrovale is a place of endless despair, and that Hope is a rare commodity.

After a brief tutorial dungeon, you enter the Refuge. This is where you will spend time between running through dungeons. You can gear up, sell items, and unlock new permanent upgrades by spending currency here. After doing everything you need to, you can then enter the dungeons, and continue playing through new levels.

So far weaponry seems to have some variation. I have found 2 swords and 2 different bows. The weapons all felt different (one bow fired a single arrow pretty far, while the second one I found shot a flurry of arrows with much shorter range). I have seen a spear and wand in the shop, so I hope that there are a bunch of different weapon classes, and that each class has a ton of different weapons. Other equipment includes helmets, chest pieces, boots, amulets and other things.

Enemies seem like the typical kind of enemies you would find in this kind of game. Tons of skeletons, ghouls, stuff like that. I haven't played much yet, so I am sure there are a ton of different enemy types I haven't seen yet. Interested to see what kind of bosses are in this game!

Through some runs, you will run into other citizens it seems you can help. I ran into a Harlot and also a Wretch. I gave the Wretch some Hope, and he opened a cell door with some gold in it for me. I noticed during another run that when I reached the Wretch again that the cell was still open, so I was able to get the gold again. The Harlot, however, needed more Hope than I had, so I will have to wait and see what they do.

Overall, this game is pretty fun so far! It has a bunch of mechanics that remind me of other games like this that I like to play (Enter the Gungeon, Children of Morta, etc.). It feels like a Rogue mixed with Diablo (loot wise). If you like games like these, I would suggest checking it out! The demo is free, so if you don't like it, at least you won't lose out on money!
