This session shall explore the current trends in the consumer electronics market. We shall identify problems in the current market in terms of the fragmentation caused by Dominant vendors led initiatives.

To solve the problem we introduce characteristics required of a possible unifying o.s. We propose a redifinition of software development targeting real life use cases that leverage multiple devices. Harmony OS aims to deliver a unique user experience across different devices and scenarios which we shall examine in this session.
