This is a workaround for the problem of your cheats in retroarch reappearing after being deleted. Although, I believe it is a feature designed to help you load the cheats faster, it can be annoying when you are trying to just try a cheat one time to see if you like it. Maybe you cheated before, and you want to try everything vanilla again to see how your skills have improved. The trick is to delete the specific cheat file that was created for your game, so watch this video if you need to figure out how to do it.
