Jan 2012: I 100% the game at around this time, using this glitch. There have been no problems at all. The glitch seems to be safe.


Everything is explained in the video. This is a neat little glitch that allows you to fight an invisible Bilocyte (though you can make it visible again later). The useful thing about it is that this invisible version of the boss wakes up as soon as a bomb explodes nearby... for some reason. This effectively bypasses the boss' introduction cutscene, as well as the small sequence in which you must destroy the eyeballs. This means that this glitch will come in handy in speedruns.

The video quality is bad, I know, but I did all I could to make it up for it. Think about it, it's not that bad - you can perfectly understand what's going on, the video isn't shaky, and there's no low-quality background noise, so you shouldn't bicker about it. The song used is the song that plays during this same boss fight. It was a bit tough making the video exactly the same length as the music's.
