How To Shuffle Wallpapers On iPhone Lock Screen In iOS 26:
Step 1: Go to the Lock Screen, wake your iPhone and long-press anywhere on the Lock Screen (Face ID or passcode unlock may be required).
Step 2: Swipe left until you get to the “+” (Add New) and tap on it. From the wallpaper options, choose “Photo Shuffle”.
Step 3: You’ll be prompted to select either "Choose Photos Manually" or "Choose Album". Select the option you prefer, choose appropriately and tap on the check mark in the top-right corner to save them.
If you chose manual selection, browse your photo library and tap to select photos. You can select up to 50 photos.
Step 4: Tap on the three horizontal dots to enable and disable the Depth Effect and Extend Wallpaper.
Here, you can also pick the "Shuffle Frequency". You can set when the wallpaper changes Daily, Hourly, On Tap or On Lock.
Step 5: After selecting your shuffled wallpapers, you can also add Lock Screen widgets, change the clock font, customize lock screen shortcuts or adjust color filters.
Step 6: Tap “Add” in the top right corner when done. You'll be presented with two options:
Set as Wallpaper Pair: Allows you to set the shuffle wallpapers for both the home screen and lock screen.
Customise Home Screen: Gives you the ability to select a different Home Screen wallpaper.
Make your choice (Set as Wallpaper Pair is recommended). Then, tap on the lock screen page to exit edit mode.
Your new Lock Screen with shuffled wallpapers will now be active, as per the Shuffle Frequency you chose.
