41Announce at the "Far Out" event on September 7, 2022, Apple's latest iPhone 14 series has been on the shelves for roughly a month already. The latest iPhone generation consists of four phones, the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
This year is the lack of a “mini” model in favor of a larger affordable iPhone, the iPhone 14 Plus. It shares hardware with the regular iPhone 14, but has a much larger 6.7-inch display, making it a more affordable version of the more expensive and premium iPhone 14 Pro Max.
The iPhone 14-series was announced at September 7, 2022, at Apple’s “Far Out” event, which took place earlier than usual (normally, Apple hosts its iPhone announcement events on the second Tuesday of September, which would have been September 13 this year).
Pre-orders for the iPhone 14 series will open in a couple of days’ time, on September 9. The iPhone 14 will be released to the market on September 16, 2022. Meanwhile, the iPhone 14 Plus will be available on October 7.
