iPhone 6 Plus iOS 9.1 Beta vs. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge - Which Is Faster?
738Here is another speed test for all of you who love to see tests between two of the world’s most popular large screen smartphones at the moment—iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 9.1 Beta with Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ running Android 5.1.1. Take a look to find out which of these is the fastest.
While the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge plus is a smartphone released in 2015, iPhone 6 was Apple’s phone for the year 2014. As we are all aware, a better large screen iPhone for 2015 is on its way, the iPhone 6S Plus. Both the devices are similar in size but the Edge plus has its nicely curved edges with a glass back whereas the iPhone 6’s back is made of Aluminum.
We conducted the startup test as usual and the results were surprisingly similar. Both devices started up with only a fraction of a second difference. When opening the phone app, the win of the Android smartphone was evident, but it should be kept in mind that the iOS in the iPhone6+ is only a Beta version of the OS while Android has a fully functional OS. Apple iPhone 6 + also showed a big difference in opening the app store than the S6 Edge +, which is somewhat disappointing.
The multitasking screen too is a bit laggy in the iOS 9.1 Beta but it could probably be because it’s just a beta version of the OS. The Android device on the other hand has a smooth multitasking feature with a close all button which is not present in the iOS 9.
