Steps:

Open the settings app on your phone.

In settings tap ‘notifications’.

Scroll down the notification settings and tap ‘messages’.

At the bottom of the messages settings tap ‘customise notifications’.

Tap ‘repeat alerts’.

To turn off repeated message alerts select ‘never’
