0Iron Harvest Normal Playthrough - no commentary
This is mission isn't difficult as long as you don't rush the cannons at the end.
The first half of the mission is to rescue 50 civilians, how long this takes you depends on how many you let die, your base will be periodically attacked so either you run back to base each time Steinmetz warns you or you leave some units back at base. The enemy units in town consist of just shot gunners so they won't be much of a challenge but they might kill more civilians if you don't have enough troops to effectively mop them up.
Second part of the mission tasks you with destroying the 3 Destroyer cannons, which are just large caliber flak cannons and you do NOT want to be in front of one when it fires. It can heavily damage multiple units in its path. You only need to get rid of two by the way, when you reach the third one the mission will end.
The best way to get rid of the Destroyer cannons is to kill their supporting units, once they are gone the crew manning it will escape and it counts as destroyed. You can man the cannons yourself, you need to do it to destroy the two Serps for a challenge but it also requires you to draw the Serps in front of the limited arc of the cannon, something I quickly gave up on as it's too finicky to bother with.
