Baldur’s Gate 3 is here! I’ve dived into a few hours of early access and plan to play a LOT more over the coming days. Expect more detailed thoughts over the next few days!

This time around though I wanted to concentrate on the negative feedback surrounding this game and whether it’s justified. While the people talking negatively are in the minority I would say, I still think it is worth addressing given overhype can do a disservice to the game and I’ve found some of the criticism to be unwarranted while some is also about new systems perhaps have been off putting for people in their Divinity comfort zone.
Hopefully this can offer something a little different than a simple early impressions video might have and I look forward to sharing my full thoughts on the game soon! I will say great work to Larian Studios though, I’m confident they’ve created something great!
