Tokyo 42 is described as an open-world isometric shooter and it happens to have an excellent cyberpunk world - obviously it would make this list! As with all the games in this Cyberpunk 2077 Alternatives series, it features an extensive cyberpunk setting and gameplay elements! Need to lose a tail? No problem, take cover and randomly change your skin. Pretty challenging to tail someone who can change their appearance at will!

Cyberpunk 2077 is undoubtedly exciting for anyone remotely interested in cyberpunk. However, for those of us on a budget, or those of us who are simply looking for more good cyberpunk games (because there are many, many bad ones out there), we're looking at some #Cyberpunk2077 alternatives!

While the art is relatively simple, the living world throughout Tokyo 42 really got my attention. Completing all of the main and side missions, as well as locating the various collectables would undoubtedly make for hours of fun, which is always important for those of us gaming on a budget!

Have you played Tokyo 42? Thoughts? Let me know in the comments! Can you think of other cyberpunk games that may be good alternatives to Cyberpunk 2077? Add recommendations in the comments!
