There are tons of different tiling window managers out like i3, bspwm, awesome, dwm and tons more but for me one sticks out of the crowd as being a great way to introduce someone to working with this work flow and that i3. Now I'm not saying it's the best tiling window manager, it has it's far share of problems but I feel like it's probably the easiest tiling window manager to get started with and begin working out how to productively use one.
