77Iwantyourgrandmayumyum asked a fantastic question about whether you should focus on doing 1 job like teaching/playing live or should you try to diversify into many streams. I think you have to find your own awesome. I do a lot of things, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, brandbuilding, mental health content, mindset, drum tutorials, drum covers, selling drum sheet music, taking care of my audience. Teaching 5 days a week, making time to practice the drums, meditate daily, exercise.
That's my own unique combination of awesomeness, and it makes me fulfilled to do all that, albeit in different quantities each time. For example I've stopped playing live completely, and am putting drum covers and sheet music on hold to focus on brand building, drumming tutorials, mindset and brand strategy.
