This NEW VR RPG Uses ONLY HAND TRACKING! // Quest 3 Gameplay
457DRAKHEIR is a brand new VR RPG built ENTIRELY around hand tracking for the Quest 3... it's basically a VR Dr Strange simulator with dragons, elves and ogres! In Drakheir players move through the world, interact with menus and cast a wide variety of magic spells all without ever picking up a controller, everything is done with your physical hands and it works surprisingly well, I'd actually say this is one of the best examples of a VR hand tracking game so far outside of the various Mixed Reality experiences on Quest. However, Drakheir definitely isn't a perfect game... It needs more polish, it's very linear for an RPG and the story feels oddly disjointed, it actually works much better as a straight up wave based action game because the hand tracked combat is undeniably cool. Casting spells and flinging fire balls out of your fingertips works quickly, accurately and intuitively, you'll be mixing and matching spells before you know it, switching from fireballs to electric axes, blocking with magic shields and stringing chains of gestures together to deliver devastating final blows.
