A cognitive distortion is a skewed way we begin to think based on limited knowledge, assumptions, fear, or other intense emotion. These distortions do not mean you are "delusional" or psychologically unhealthy. Distortions are normal ways we think as humans. It's almost inevitable that you experience a few of these distortions. And that's ok!

The goal is to reduce or completely eliminate the distortions that keep you bound.

In this video, I discuss each Cognitive Distortion and the impact they can have on our ability to correctly interpret a situation.

I welcome your comments and questions!
