Street Fighter's characters and logos were long the first thing that came to mind when the topic of fighting games ever came up, but the franchise went through a recent period of turbulence with fans while some of its most notable fighting game competition has been flourishing, and it's not been safe to call Street Fighter king as of late.

We welcome King Jae for this episode of Talk and Block as he discusses where he feels SF places in the genre's current landscape, a particularly recent fumble toward the end of Street Fighter 5 that's bleeding into Street Fighter 6, and how some of SF6's promising new features might help propel the franchise back to the head of the pack.
