So, I already don't like conquest and it has some pretty flimsy excuses to it. First, it being beta is fine, but obviously from this, there is a big difference between the starting tower and the later one, which is still full def by the way and higher level.

So first the excuses. It's new content. I'd argue it really isn't, because all it does is have filler non challenging stages that you must do, in order to make the RAID bosses easier to damage, who are now all HP sponges. You also need to take more steps to secure diamonds then just simply getting them from ranking, so it's just raid, with extra steps. It certainly is cute, but it kind of reminds me of left for dead 2. They added some pretty neat features, but that shit could have totally just been dlc. The hardest aspect of that was probably adding in the melee.

It's for new players so they can be useful. Back to saying the buff stages are basically filler, there isn't anything to really accomplish and once that is over, they're just facing a way out of their league raid boss, regardless of which version. Now if the game did the bombardment thing at stage one or whatever, then they could chip away at the boss, maybe like 2% damage? 5%? Whatever is appropriate. They just get to bite the bullet and do raid like raid though. Once the gimmick is over, there is the same bs spot that'd be in normally, just without all the easier forms that aren't meat shields, with less rewards currently. Maybe down the line it's amazing, but I don't see how shafting newer players from getting 2400-2600 diamonds is somehow positive for them. Yes, lets give them less chances to pull for progression so they can babysit a base. So helpful to them to have generally less content and reward. Smart.

Then what the video finally covers and why this is just stupid currently. So I'm not setup like a years worth of content of f2p, I don't spend, but I got a decent amount of def. We have all the buffs up, def down, look what the boss does to the tank at 680k def. Now think of you not having those resources and basically being told to eat shit. It's the fucking first stage and this is how they set it up. Follow you non dodgeable, non interruptible, respawning enemies that you can plan to kill to remove them entirely. Just a straight up bait that forces specific comps, in a game with one of the worst progressions ever, taking a month+ just for evos, let alone the rest of the resources. Made for new players my ass. They get 6 attempts and then thrown to the dogs, awesome.

Then you go to Red who still has all of her shit up, takes around 3 million, adds die in like 3 hits, totally doable without a full heal tank ensemble. How do you go from what the first gate stage boss is, to that? This is way more hurtful and less rewarding them if it was just your standard raid. They really need to tone down the first boss and this isn't a bug, this is just blown out stats with purposeful immunity, like not being able to interrupt, then they just make it easier the higher you go. The logic, non existent.
