Dying Light 2 - Part 17 - Is That Aitor!
1Hey everyone and welcome back to Dying Light 2.
We head to the location given to look for Lieutenant Rowe but we come across one of his men instead. We show him the letter anyway and he tells the others there they are to pack up and head back to headquarters. The people they have been protecting all this time are not happy at all about this decision. We travel to New Dawn Park to search for Lieutenant Rowe anyway.
Along the way we are also able to pick up some side quests that the civilians have for us. This side quests varies and could be anything from collecting items, saving people or even taking out some renegade camps. These quests we are able to come back to at a later date without progressing the story in any way. Once we arrive at the location we find some Renegades trying to get into a makeshift building. We safe the person inside but it is not Lieutenant Rowe. The Rookie tells us everything that happened here but soon after more Renegades come for a fight. The Rookie is able to tell us the direction that Rowe went so we head that way.
Taking the Rookies information we head up to the roof top and eventually find Lieutenant Rowe after taking out the Renegades near by. Lieutenant Rowe is happy that we have been able to help but he is very unhappy with the report to return to headquarters. Lieutenant Rowe really respects his men and the sacrifices they have made for everyone. Lawan comes to speak with Rowe about the database and the GRE key as he might know something. Even though Lieutenant Rowe is annoyed he still gives us some information. After Rowe leaves we speak with Lawan about what is next. Lawan is unhappy as it seems the database has been lost in the fall. Aiden is not so easy to give up and believes that there must be something left. Aiden heads to the observatory to check things out for himself.
Once we arrive at the observatory we can see the area is filled with chemicals for miles around, could everything really have been lost in the attack. We radio Jack Matt and see if he is able to help us out. Jack Matt is willing to help but not over the radio, so we agree to meet. Whilst near all these chemicals Aiden has another attack and passes out, when he wakes up there are two civilians who could have helped Aiden. However when Aiden stands up he is surrounded by bodies, what could have happened here?
Aiden is confused but still determined to find out what happened to Mia so we head to the ship to speak with Jack Matt. When we arrive they need to check our biomarker to make sure we are not close to turning. It seems everyone around here thinks highly of Jack Matt but also think he is acting a little strange at the moment. Whilst looking around we are pushed pass by a group of people carrying body. Its Aitor! Could he still be alive after the attack with Waltz? We need to know more about what happened and speak with Jack Matt about the attack.
