Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy released in December 2001 for the Playstation 2. It was the follow-up to developer Naughty Dog's successful Crash Bandicoot series. While it didn't revolutionize the 3D platformer collect-a-thon genre, it introduced some concepts that are now commonplace in modern gaming. Since this was my first time ever playing this classic, I wanted to look back and see what imprint this game left on modern games, and to see if it still holds up today.
Footage was captured from the PS4 version of the game.
Note: I have been having some problems with my audio getting fuzzy when I upload it to youtube, even though the original file on my computer is fine. I have tried 4 times now, but at least at this point it is still discernible. I will try to figure out what is causing this and fix it for future videos. Thank you.
