Japan's 4 Million Dollar Flop Game of 2009: The most expensive of the worst - Ougon no Kizuna
I apologise for how long this video is. But there was so much wrong with the game that trying to summarize it all in 20 minutes was too much of a challenge. That said, do let me know if you read this whether you prefer I split these videos into multiple parts or keep them long form.
Ougon no Kizuna was developed by Jaleco, a relatively large game company in Japan at the time. Upon release of their initial ads, this game was already expected to fail horrifically and they delivered on that. With 1,200 copies sold in total, this game killed off the dev company which ended up being bought out by another company, thereby ensuring we would never get a sequel to this dumpster fire... hopefully...
