Based on the hit syndicated TV show, your mileage for this game will depend somewhat on your love for trivia. Those who like trivia will enjoy it well enough, but it is one of those games that is probably best enjoyed with a friend. The computer AI isn’t that bright under the best of circumstances and can make the game feel like a slog. The categories are decent and the questions are varied, though it helps if you have a passing knowledge of what was happening in the 1980s given when the game was released. The game is fairly primitive and doesn’t have many bells and whistles, but it accomplishes what it is well enough without becoming too grating or laborious. It is worth noting that this is an early effort by Rare, who would become a keystone of gaming several years later.
