Spent a bunch of time picking up powerups - and eventually, Miriam! I wasn’t going to bother with that stage until I was ready to fight Titankhamum. It actually turned out that the lightning spell is WAY stronger than I remembered. I was planning on just using the fire spell for cover.

Rooting out the remaining powerups got especially tedious as it’s not clear which areas I haven’t explored, and I tend to quickly forget which route I’ve already taken. I did get more of an appreciation for some of the characters and their sub-weapons. Alfred’s frost spell for example had more cool uses with freezing lava and waterfalls, and I eventually discovered after my playthrough that Dominique’s spear jump sub-weapon can pass through solid ceilings.
