Playing with higher FPS makes this easier and also allows for different jump, skipping even more.

"Setup" for this skip:

1) Jump onto your ship and face the leftern wing ( 0:04 )
2) This is the tricky part: You need as much jump height as possible, but you need to maintain enough speed when jumping off of the tip of the wing. ( 0:06 )
I think 4/5 of the jump height might be best. If you use your full jump potential, you usually jump to far or lose to much speed because of angle adjustment.
3) Reach the ledge of the plattfporm and jump again, this time with max height ( 0:08 )
Do not jump onto the barrels, they only slow you down!!
4) Before reaching the platform, you usually might want to crouch just before landing to "increase" your jump height.
This "glitch", the Crouch Jump, reduces the height of your hitbox since you crouch, and this works even in mid-air.
5) Walk to the other side of the plattform and jump up; crouch jump at the end or you will not make it! ( 0:12 )

If you get this first try, it saves like 50 seconds compared to the record route and probably about 60 seconds compared to the normal route.
Also, since you did not walk into any trigger, there are no enemies so far. Does not matter though; the next trigger awaits.
