Well, this game just came out (January 28, 2020). The PC version is available on the EGS (Epic Games Store), but it's also available on PS4 and XB1. It's supposedly coming to Switch at some point in the future as well.

The developer is Typhoon Studios, and it's published by 505 Games.

As far as the game goes, think 'No Man's Sky', but more focused (just one planet with multiple areas), more colourful, and cheaper besides (It's about $30 US). The game offers co-op, but I was playing single player in the game. Multiple save slots is nice too. It's limited open world, so you can wander around a fair bit to various areas.

I play it for a bit over an hour and a half. It's in my usual style of starting from the beginning, getting a bit acclimated, wandering around, and talking occasionally.
