I actually haven't played this wad, but today I saw a bit of Austinado's stream where the map was being called, hmm *checks notes*, "poop sticking out of a dog's ass", and I know Cynder also dedicated some words to the map but I didn't watch that stream entirely cause I can't stand watching a grown person just raging. So of course, before throwing a veredict on this map I had to play it and after doing so and recording a demo the conclusion is clear, the problems with this map come down to skill issue.

You see, most of this map is actually not that hard, the first 2 rooms are basically free unless you're rushing the viles, and the 3rd room doesn't seem to give many problems despite being the most inconsistent room in the map, hmm I wonder what's the difference on why I say it's the rev fight that's the hardest one, and the one difference between recording a demo and a casual play is of course, the savescum. You can easily savescum through all the revs you want cause each shot kills enough of them to always have space no matter how bad of a save you make, but this will change in the next room.

We arrive to the baron room, here dubz something spectacular, something that I didn't think possible, and it's defeating savescumming, this fight comes down to some simple herding, but if you mess up this early on in the fight and save, you've just saved yourself against a corner, barons are healthy enough that you can't just bfg and savespam your way through them like you can with revs, making some players fail spectacularly at this fight when all that's needed is a bit of strategy, and the map doesn't hide anything from you, the room is the same shape as the previous rooms, there's one more mega that you can see inmediatly, the other megas are in the same areas as in the previous rooms, there is no secret, just bad planning and bad gameplay.

Am I being harsh? maybe, but I have no remorse after hearing to what these guys had to say about Dubz, or the map being called, hmm *checks notes again*, pure garbage, an abomination, "I would not want my name on this thing", bullshit, "cancerous wart on my shiny golden rectum" (tbh this one was funny), I am not a fan of Dubz maps myself cause they are too hard for me to be enjoyable, and I accept this as the reason, but this map is not one of them, this demo took just 96 attempts 9 of them being 1 second in so it's basically 85 and of those 39 attempts died to the viles cause I am trying to kill them fast, the rest are a split between the revs and barons, and 3 deaths to the end fight, all of my deaths to the barons were before I rerouted the room making it almost 100% consistent.
