Just a little update to the "hub".
0Looking after the cats is a full time job for any volunteer. there's over 30 cats between the hub and the kitten room, and each needs to be fed,watered and their daily meds given too as well.
just the refreshing of the cat litter and cleaning of litter trays takes a great deal of time, especially when a few of the cats suffer from watery diarrhoea. So their litter trays not only need replenishing of the litter and trying to retain the good litter too, to save on waste, but also cleaning and disinfecting each litter tray too as cross contamination is a huge concern in rescues. its a difficult job at times but ultimately very rewarding, even more so if you truly love cats and want to see them thrive, get better, and find their forever homes too.
