1To those who don't understand, here's an explanation from an autistic person who didn't understand the trend at first:
When you use a glowstick, it can light up for a specific amount of time, depending on the intensity of the light.
Some last for 5 minutes, others have no trouble lasting for multiple hours.
Apply this logic to people.
Some people may do well in school, or at work, but as soon as they get home, they're so drained physically and emotionally that they simply can't last any longer, and need a break.
Other people might just do decent, but find the time to hang out with others, or engage in their favorite activities while still being able to build up energy for the next day.
The ones doing very well tend to use an intense amount of energy to put in effort.
The ones who are on a neutral level don't use as much energy, and can therefore last longer and handle much more than others.
Some glowsticks can only be used once or twice, and don't last very long.
Replace the ones doing good with someone who spends all of their time working and studying, but still fail. They use up so much energy that they can't build up enough to take on the day after, and after a while, they run out of energy to do even simple things.
