EARLY YEARS
Kai Franz was surrounded by music from an early age; his parents had an extensive record collection that spanned a variety of genres, from classic rock to the electronic sounds of the 1980s. By the age of 14, Kai already had his first experiences as a DJ at local parties, where he experimented with mixing a variety of sounds and creating his own sets. As he himself recalls in interviews, "in those days he played a lot of hip-hop music."

THE BEGINNING OF HIS CAREER
In the 1990s, Kai began creating his own music, inspired by artists such as Sven Väth and Detroit techno. His first productions were experimental, but over time he developed his own style that drew the attention of a larger audience. In 1997, under the pseudonym Kai Tracid, he debuted with the single "So Simple," which quickly gained popularity in German clubs.

BREAKTHROUGH AND SUCCESSES
The turning point in Kai's career came in 1998, when he released the single "Your Own Reality." The song became an international hit and secured his status as a trance music star. He then released a series of successful singles, such as "Dance for Eternity" and "Liquid Skies," which solidified his position on the scene.

In 1999, Kai Tracid founded his own record label, Tracid Traxxx, which allowed him to have more control over his own work and promote new talent in the trance industry.

ALBUMS AND SUBSEQUENT CAREER
Kai Tracid's most notable albums include "Skywalker" (1999), "Trance & Acid" (2002) and "Contemplate the Reason You Exist" (2003). Each of these albums showcased his ability to explore the boundaries of the trance genre and introduce innovative production solutions.

In addition to his solo activities, Kai has collaborated with many other artists and remixed tracks by well-known artists, further strengthening his position in the electronic music market.

ACTIVITIES OUTSIDE THE MUSIC SCENE
Kai Tracid is also known for his involvement in developing the electronic music scene. His label, Tracid Traxxx, not only promoted new talent but also organized events and festivals that attracted fans from all over the world.
