Video quality was set to High but the framerate slider bar was below half. XD I think I'll do a Grand Prix Story one with a higher framerate to see how different it is~!

Audio was recorded via a generic, no frills audio cable plugged into the touch's headset port and into my laptop's microphone/line in's port. In Audacity (which is freeware for all sorts of operating systems :B), I had it set to recording option set to line-in.

Everything was compiled together in VirtualDub. There might be a split second sound delay as I had to manually figure out how many seconds to delay the audio by. :\

Incidentally, Display Recorder can only be used with a jailbroken device. :V But you can certainly record sound from your device through an audio cable with any sound recording program on your computer! (Well, as long as you have either mic in or line in.)

And FWIW, my iPod touch is running iOS 4.3.5 and was tethered jailbroken with redsn0w 0.9.8b4. For video and sound editing, I use Windows XP.
