No, there is no audio since Display Recorder doesn't capture it. And no, Display Record doesn't work on non-modified devices. Check other videos here on YouTube or Google on how to jailbreak your iPhone/iPod touch/iPad.

I have a workaround in mind and I'll try it some other time. :D

Anyway, this was recorded from my recently jailbroken iPod touch 4G on Medium video quality + low framerate (well, the bar is not even at the halfway mark) and in landscape mode. XD I just wanted to see how well things performed with those settings. :3

The video was recompressed in VirtualDub and I also cropped out about 30 seconds of Tap Sonic being stupid and not connecting to the server.

I deliberately tried a rhythm game to see if it was playable. As you can see, it definitely is but unless you're used to the song and note patterns, you'll probably break combos quite a bit due to the brief seconds of lag. :/

And FWIW, my iPod touch is running iOS 4.3.5 and was tethered jailbroken with redsn0w 0.9.8b4.
