Developed Ashley Routledge and David Saunders and published by Codemasters in 1990.

A great budget title with decent graphics, sound and a sense of humour. The game is a spin on the choplifter concept where the object is to fly across the level in your plane, rescue hostages and fly them back to safety.

The twist (and the kamizae concept) comes into play. You must shoot down a plane carrying dynamite, catch it as it falls through the air and then crash land your plane into the gates of the stronghold where your comrades are held hostage (you don't lose any lives if done correctly).

The game has 4 levels, each more difficult than the last. The skies are full of enemy plane and jets, while jeeps and men on quad bikes zip along the ground - all of which are valid targets to boost your point score. Everybody's first target should be to shoot down the little men on parachutes, just to watch their arms flap and cry of despair as they hurtle towards the ground.

The game loops endlessly after the end of level 4, so that's where the video ends.

Enjoy!
