Kanab RV Corral in Kanab, Utah was not in our original plan. In fact, we were planning on a stop at Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park which we knew had no Verizon service according to the reviews we read. Still, it sounded pretty cool until I started doing a little more research and discovered that this is more for playing on the sand dunes and OHV enthusiasts. It has been really hot and the heat plus sand makes it impossible to walk our pups. It is just too much for their paws. So, I made a change and that's how we landed in Kanab. It is conveniently on our way as we travel to the north rim area of the Grand Canyon.
What we love about Kanab RV Corral:
1. Friendly folks here
2. Shade trees and grass, especially in the fenced dog park
3. Sites are large, you can pick your site, but the lady I spoke with on the phone suggested a site for us when I booked and it was perfect!
4. When you arrive, you are given several handouts based on what you want to do in the area. We found these resources helpful.
5. Clean, sparkling pool
6. Close to restaurants, grocery stores, shops, post office, hiking
7. Scenic drives nearby
8. History - Parry Lodge, Little Hollywood Land
9. Reservoir nearby with a swim beach
10. Full service at our site
11. Verizon service works
What we didn't love about Kanab RV Corral:
Nothing to add here - we enjoyed our stay.
Well done, Kanab RV Corral!
