Trailer Village RV Park, Grand Canyon South Rim, Site C11 Campsite Video #shorts

We went camping at Trailer Village at the south rim of the Grand Canyon National Park. This campground is the only full service campground in the Grand Canyon National Park and the only one that can accommodate rigs over 30' at the south rim. Keep your America the Beautiful pass put away because this campground is run by an authorized concessionaire, Delaware North, and they do not honor national park passes. However, you can use your national park pass for the park entrance fee.
In this video we do a short tour of Trailer Village and some of the things to do in the park.
What we love about Trailer Village:
1. It is in the Grand Canyon!
2. Bus stop at the campground
3. Deer, elk, chipmunks, fox, birds - plenty of wildlife here
4. Sites are large and many have shade.
5. Pull through sites
6. Verizon works here
7. Walking distance to restaurants, store, and the rim of the Grand Canyon
8. Greenway Trail system makes getting to the rim or any other area easy.
What we didn't love about Trailer Village:
1. Steep price
2. Many of the classic sites are unlevel
3. National Park Passes not accepted
Even though the price is steep, it is the location and the full hook ups that make this campground a great place to stay while visiting the Grand Canyon.
