Here's a look at Karnov from Data East. This game was originally released back in 1987 and did well enough to be ported to a number of home computers and of course the NES.

You take control of Karnov through 9 levels of running, jumping and swimming to get treasure. There's tons of hidden secrets and power ups you can find throughout the game like the mask that you can use to uncover items you normally can't get.

Karnov proved to be a big hit for Data East and ended up becoming the company's mascot. He was featured in a number of Data East games including an appearance as the first level boss of Bad Dudes and as the final boss in the Neo-Geo fighting game Fighters History.

Big thanks to Sarah from the Pinball Wizard's Arcade in Pellham New Hampshire for keeping this game in amazing condition. I haven't played at Data East arcade game with a joystick that good in over 20 years!
