Kartal, maker of the AW2 Christmas pack from awhile ago, has requested that I do a blind playthrough of the OS part of his campaign, so I'll be taking a break from AW2 to do that. A lot's been going on with holidays and other stuff so I wanted to do something a little different for now and this is a good opportunity. Anyways, I'll be giving more detailed thoughts on the missions in the video descriptions:

Mission 1: An excellent opening mission that lets us get acquainted with Andy's changes and, since it's VS Sturm instead of the real Sturm, the meteors are easier to deal with, making the map actually pretty balanced. Andy's increased repair abilities are great here as you can be a little more aggressive and recover your HP back. This let me pull off a "soft Victory March" which I'm sure was the intended method to clearing this with a perfect 300, a puzzle that's very satisfying to crack as it requires a little ingenuity. Very fun first map. I'll be giving the maps ratings between C and S. Should be no surprise that this map's rank is...S Rank!

Mission 2: Unfortunately not as good as the first, primarily because of the Fog. Fog is very easy to mess up; in this case it's a combination of many factors that make it harder than it needs to be. I failed it two times before the winning run because I simply didn't know where the Cruisers, Battleships, Rocket and Missile would be. Also, it hasn't been communicated to the player that Missiles have 6 range now but this is minor. The player's unit loadout is much more problematic. The weather is rainy for the whole map, so fuel costs go up and vision goes down. The player has no APC and very little properties to refuel at. The Meteor is automatic unavoidable damage, so you do not want your air units to get hit. Only one Mech is in your army; losing it means you have to destroy all enemies to win, and they like to hide in the darkness. This one gets a B rank because I've seen worse, but ouch.
