One step forward, one step back. The game impresses, and the game makes me facepalm. It's a very interesting dance. Like, the game WANTS to be great! It does so much right! But then plot shows up, and is generic trope'ish garbage. Then a developer choices appears to remind the player that the devs think we're all morons and need our hand held. I wonder where we'll land in the end. I've never been so impressed with a game before and ALSO so disapointed at it for totally different reasons. It's very interesting.
