What kinda chip you got in there, a Dorito?
Purely for fun, I attempted to speedrun Keen 6 on a slightly slower system than is probably recommended. As CPU speed decreases, some game mechanics begin to change, in this case not hugely, but enough to affect the best possible time - and this is in no way the best possible time.
Some day I'd like to attempt this on the 6MHz system, but it is much more difficult due to how jumps are affected and collision misbehaving in different ways.
In either case, for reasons even I'm not entirely sure of, the idea of a speedrun that was inherently slow amused me. The aim of Dorito% is to beat the game as fast as possible, but with the slowest hardware you dare even attempt this with. Keen 6 is kinda special due to the afore mentioned changes in game mechanics, necessitating different strategies or adapting them for a given system.

System Specs:
AMD 286-16
Chaintech 286-ELT Motherboard
4MB DIP RAM
Trident 8800CS VGA
Master Boomer Sound Card

If anyone else wants to attempt this, especially with a slower machine than mine, I'd be interested to see the results.
Don't worry, this isn't about to become a regular thing.
