Keeper [キーパー] Game Sample - X68000
Keeper is Success' little known (but well-recieved) puzzler "masterpiece" (as it's called in some Japanese circles) and was ported to the Super Famicom too. It was also turned into a SuperLite 1500 title for Playstation much later (sometime in 2002). The game features very vibrant, colorful visuals, good audio, and an easy to learn, tough to master gameplay system.
You can basically learn the fundamentals by watching the one minute tutorial (we kept it), but the basic idea is to match at least three or more of a like object. The objects can be a different color so long as the symbols match or a different symbol so long as the colors match, but you get more points if you match like objects and colors. You can push, pull, and even hop over blocks, as well as walk around the 5x5 grid and grab bonus items. You can earn a lot of points as well by matching special blocks and especially a lot of points for matching three or more "Time Stop" tiles. Hopping on a Time Stop tile (it looks like a clock with its hands moving) will give you a breather as the tiles appear faster the higher your level advances and it also adds new objects and colors.
This is a video showing the basics of how the game functions. I lose towards the end so the video doesn't go over 15 minutes, I wanted to show a little of the stuff afterwards. Enjoy.
