Ken Griffin admitted to market manipulation, death spirals and the creation of synthetic shares.
Back in 2001 Ken Griffin admitted to hiring a team of BCG consultants to spy on his hedge fund competitors and even poach top talent from failing firms.
Ken also admitted to using convertible securities known as 'death spirals' which enables the holder to convert held shares to a cash alternative, further incentivising Kenny to push the price down via the creation of synthetic shares.
However, it looks like Bank of America, Citadel's prime broker, may be on its way out as fidelity has created a separate overflow fund to protect in the event of a BofA default.
